The latest OMV Petrom image campaign brings forward the energy products that the company produces and sells: gas, fuel and electricity. The idea of this campaign comes from OMV Petrom’s strategy to ensure the sustainable supply of energy products which are essential to modern life.
The key message of the TV ad created by Graffiti BBDO and directed by Radu Muntean is that we can achieve what we intend to if we use the most valuable resource: energy. The TV ad illustrates the beautiful connection between a father and his son and the way energy makes it easy for them to get together again. An emotional story inspired by everyday life in which OMV Petrom is a secondary character, a facilitator of this reunion.
In order to implement this campaign’s concept, <Energy for unlimited possibilities>, we had to decide which execution / story would be the most exciting. Strategically, it was important for the story to be a micro, a personal one, hence the idea of a father-son reunion. It all comes from the anticipative emotion of the boy, an emotion that turns into an energy to build the Robot. It is the energy of each of us that helps us achieve our goals, our dreams, whether they are personal or professional. But without the essential energy products that OMV Petrom produces and sells, these goals may remain simple plans. The execution time was a challenge, so the process was <energetic> and collaborative. For the development of the stories, the creative team included from the beginning the director with whom we wanted to make the spot, Radu Muntean.
