Romanian Alternative School opened Young Marketers competition for Cannes Lions 2019

The Alternative School announced the start of Young Marketers competition, dedicated to young people specialized in marketing, communication, branding and strategy with a real opening towards efficient and creative approach of communication.

The selection process is open for all young Romanians specialized in marketing, aged up to 30 y.o., and the participation fee is €200. All those who enter the competition will have to solve an initial brief for which they will receive feedback from the jury and then an intensive training with focus on the most interesting development of the contemporary marketing. After the first evaluation, 12 finalist teams will receive a new brief, that they need to solve in 48 hours. The winning team will participate, as Romania’s representatives, to the Young Lions competition, part of Cannes Lions 2019.

The Alternative School’s workshops will include analysis of the most interesting case studies awarded at Lions Festivals, with focus on efficiency and creativity.

Speakers and those evaluating students’ work are elite characters from within the industry, former jurors or winners from Cannes Lions, Eurobest or Dubai Lynx.

Young Marketers is the international competition dedicated to young people specialized in marketing.

At Cannes Lions 2019, teams from 30 countries will compete.

The Alternative School’s students participated before in Cannes – Young Marketers competition and won, in 2008, an Order of Merit through the team of young clients from Mobesxpert.

The Romanian team to represent Romania at Cannes 2019 will be sponsored by Media Concept Store, full service ad agency active on Romanian market since 2010. Media Concept Store is having, in Romania, the licence for the international competition “Product of The Year”
