The Art Directors Club of Europe announced six selected participants, members of five different ADCE Club Members, will be taking part in the first edition of its new educational program, ADCE Agency Exchange. The initiative is aimed to develop professional skills while working abroad for four to six weeks in a hosting agency during September / October 2022, whilst it also allows the agencies to benefit from a wide range of talents from other cultures, countries and backgrounds.

The six creatives taking part this year are: Emma Varotti (Italian) from Caffeina will do the exchange with Pauline Marie Korp (Estonian, working in Finland) from hasan & partners; Alexander Javakhishvili (Georgian) from JWT Metro will do it with Michaela Brůhová (Czech Republic) from Triad Advertising; and Līva Arnava (Latvian) from WKND wilAl exchange with Riccardo Bruno (Italian) from Caffeina.

The programme’s rules are simple: the creatives, members of the ADCE network, apply with their agency or studio to do an exchange (not simultaneous). The exchangers maintain their salary from their workplace and, although the travel expenses should be covered by the exchanger or his/her agency or studio, host agencies help to provide accommodation during the exchange.

This is an exceptional opportunity for European creatives to do an exchange such as this. ADCE, the network of European creative clubs, proposed this exchange for their members before the pandemic, with a pilot test with two leading agencies: comOn in Portugal and hasan & partners in Finland. It worked fantastic and laid the groundwork for what the programme is today. You can find more information and the videos with the pilot test experiences by hitting this link.

As a yearly programme, the ADCE will open the call for its next edition at the beginning of 2023.
