Everything you need to know about the LAROCK festival at the Cantacuzino Domain: bands, activations and the access system

LAROCK, the festival that brings together people, bands and common passions, is preparing to open its doors at the Cantacuzino Domain in Florești, Prahova, to create new emotions and legendary moments. Over 75 bands will perform on the six stages from August 14 to 17, creating an atmosphere unlike any other in Romania.

The LAROCK festival program is prepared and posted on the official website www.larock.ro, offering all those interested the opportunity to consult the list of artists and choose from dozens of activities within the festival.

During the four days of the festival, participants will be able to see top artists such as Dubioza Kolektiv, Skindred, Subcarpați & Dope D.O.D., Dirty Shirt, Luna Amară, Coma, Implant pentru Refuz, Robin and the Backstabbers and many others. The festival promises four days of pure energy, from alternative rock and metal to unexpected genre fusions. In addition, the Avangard and Discovery Stage areas give emerging artists the chance to stand out in front of the audience.

The main activations and entertainment points within LAROCK

LAROCK was not designed only as a music festival. The generous space of the Cantacuzino Domain accommodates a suite of festival-related activations and transforms the experience from a simple concert, into areas full of activations and experiences at every moment of the day.

From the Sport & Fitness area and the Ferris wheel, to Retro Cars, the outdoor library, hammock relaxation areas, stands with local artisans and brand activations of partners such as BIC, STR8, Banca Transilvania, Nepi Rockcastle or CSR Zone. Those passionate about extreme experiences will be able to try paintball, bungee jumping, ATV racing, hot air ballooning or helicopter flying. While areas dedicated to families bring activities such as face painting and horseback riding, as well as playgrounds for children.

Details about camping and glamping

The camping area is equipped with essential facilities, including showers, eco-friendly toilets and device charging points.

Access to the camping area can be done through special tickets available on the official festival website www.larock.ro, with prices starting from 200 lei for do-it-yourself tents. Tickets for the camping area are almost sold-out.

Easy access with buses from Ploiești

The LAROCK organizers facilitate access to the festival with buses that will run regularly every hour between 8AM and 4AM during the four days of the festival. The buses will depart from the esplanade of the Palace of Culture in Ploiești, with the possibility of additional ones.

If you choose to come to Florești by personal car, 3300 parking spaces for cars and motorcycles are arranged. The parking fee is 60 lei for 4 days of the festival or 20 lei for access. The parking lots are demarcated and illuminated.

Payment solutions and wristbands

The LAROCK festival payment system is offered with the support of Banca Transilvania. Upon entering the festival, each participant will receive an access wristband. This wristband will be the only payment method and can be loaded from top-up points throughout the festival perimeter. Payment at the top-up points can be made in cash or by card.

Participants are encouraged to consult and comply with the festival regulations posted on the website. All fans are advised to consult the list of prohibited items and not to have such items on them during the festival.

The use of drones or other flying devices is strictly prohibited within the festival perimeter, in order to respect safety regulations and the privacy of participants.

Participants who violate these rules may be removed from the festival perimeter, and prohibited items will be confiscated by security personnel.

Children under 16 years of age can only attend the festival accompanied by an adult and with a valid ticket.

For children under 14 years of age, entry is free, but they must be registered at the access points.
