Bortun Olteanu and The CSR Agency to communicate for Carpatcement

April 3, 2013 Cristina Blanaru Business, CSR, PR

Starting March 2013, Bortun Olteanu was appointed to handle PR for Carpatcement Holding, one of the most important cement producers in Romania. The agency will work in partnership with The CSR Agency – Carpatcement consultants for sustainability and CSR that already work with the client for 3 years.

Among the services Bortun Olteanu will offer are PR strategic consultancy, media relations, blogger relations, social media and PR events.

We are happy we have the chance to work with Carpatcement, a company with an enormous economic and social impact. It was one of the most interesting briefs that we had on our table during last couple years

Bogdan Theodor Olteanu,

Managing Director Bortun Olteanu.

The agency selection was made following a pitch organized by Carpatcement, to which more PR agencies were invited.

The proposals of the team formed by Bortun Olteanu and The CSR Agency answered very well to Carpatcement’s communication demands. I am convinced that we will have a nice partnership, with relevant results for all people involved in our projects

Bogdan Arnautu

Chief Communication Department Carpatcement.

Bortun Olteanu team working on the account includes Bogdan Theodor Olteanu (Managing Director), Dana Amzoiu (PR Manager) and  Anca Badescu (PR Executive).

The collaboration between The CSR Agency and Carpatcement Holding started in 2011. Within the partnership, the agency adapted the global sustainability strategy of HeidelberCement Group for Romanian market. The strategy adapting process was based on stakeholder engagement programs, developed both in host communities where cement producer has activities (Bicaz, Deva and Fieni), but also among central stakeholders.

In 2013, The CSR Agency continues to work with Carpatcement with a new series of integrated projects in the CSR strategy of  Heidelbergcement group and adapted to national and local relevant realities for Carpatcement and their stakeholders.

The CSR Agency is the first agency in Romania specialized in sustainability and CSR consultancy. Founded in February 2011, the agency delivers both strategic consultance services, training and CSR reporting, audit and sustainability assurance, but also design and project management thai aim to improve non-financial performances and lead to the increase of public’s trust in business environment. The agency has among its clients Carpatcement Holding, Ursus Breweries, Provident Financial Romania and Avon Cosmetics.

The CSR Agency team responsible of Carpatcement account includes Dragos Tuta (Senior Consultant), Dan Draghia (Account Manager), Stefania Grajdeanu (CSR Reporting Consultant) and Laura Velcea (Account Executive).
