A Romanian NGO makes a contest to define the brand for a new project

February 7, 2012May 6, 2012 Cristina Blanaru Creativity

Ateliere Fara Frontiere and DesignInARK are organizing a contest for defining the name, slogan and logo for the newest NGO project. The creatives that want to answer the challenge can submit their proposals on www.designinark.com, after a simple registration proces.

During two weeks, any designer or copywriter can offer their support to a non-profit organization, but also subscribe for the great prize. At the end of these two weeks, Ateliere Fara Frontiere will have another maximum two weeks for choosing the winner.

During the contest, the project manager from Ateliere Fara Frontiere will guide you and answer your questions, in order to obtain the best results.

Also, after the winner designation, he/she will have to deliver the vector files for logo and, eventually, a short description of the concept. The prize – a laptop – will be delivered at the address written in the assignment of copyright that will be signed with the creative.

Ateliere Fara Frontiere initiates a project of manufacturing and selling laptop bags, shopping bags, make-up tools bags and other objects made of recycled advertising materials. The ecological importance of the project comes from the re-use of some resources that at this moment are turned into fuel for cement factories. Such materials as PVC, polypropylene or synthetic fabric waxed material used for mesh banners, outdoor or indoor banners, will be used as raw material.

The business model of social economy used by this organization offers social and professional insertion for people in difficulty, with disabilities, youngsters without possibilities to a workplace and also provides a starting point to the labor market. By starting a new division, 10 persons with difficulties will have the chance to integrate or re-integrate in a normal social-professional space. These persons will benefit from gaining skills, learning how to behave in a work space, with a manager, in a collectivity, with access at social and professional orientation counseling and being remunerated for their work.

Ateliere Fara Frontiere is a Romanian non-profit organization, whose mission is the social-professional insertion of people in difficulty by social economy work spaces that use recycled or re-used resources as raw material.

DesignInARK provides high quality design for your next communication campaign, micro-site or website, online advertising or broadcast campaign all at a fraction of the cost of traditional design production. DesignInARK.com is the first crowd-sourced design portal from Eastern-Europe.

Your creations will be produced through “crowdsourcing”,  as the portal offers access to a community of over 500 graphic and web designers, copywriters and sound artists all waiting to work on your next project.
