European archive movies, available soon online
Rare and unseen movies dating back at the beginnings of cinema will be accessible online, on Europa Film Treasures site, that brings together works from 28 European movie archives.
Starting July 3rd, on www.europafilmtreasures.eu will be possible to access around 50 rare movies, made between 1898 – 1970, with subtitles in five foreign languages: French, English, Spanish, Italian and German.
With a half million euro budget and partially financed by the Media European program, the site will host also comments from historians and specialists in cinema, along with the comments made by normal users.
