Romanian cable TV companies are fighting in promotions to win consumers

RCS&RDS, Romtelecom and UPC are continuing their prices war that reduces their incomes and profits, according to an article signed by Adrian Seceleanu and published by Ziarul Financiar. They come, every month, with new offers, more and more aggressive.

Latest move was made by UPC, that threw on the market a new promotion: services for free for one year. The promotional campaign launched by UPC comes as an answer to another promotion, launched by RCS&RDS and that has as stake the retention of company’s 800,000 clients.

The new UPC offer is promoted with TV ads. The promotion includes a draw that has as prizes 500 Samsung HD Ready TV sets.
