Orange might be interested to buy shares worth Euro 30-40M in the French newspaper Le Monde, considering Stéphane Richard, general manager of France Télécom, said the company is interested in a partnership with Le Monde, during an interview for Reuters.

According to Le Figaro, in this case, Lagardère will renounce to the shares it has in the press group.

On the other hand, the Swiss press group Ringier abandoned Le Monde race and might put its eyes upon Parisien-Aujourd’hui en France, considering Amaury group wants to sell its shares and concentrate more on sports and digital.
