BuzzMen, conversational marketing and viral ideas company, launched on Romanian market

Announced at Webstock 2010, BuzzMen  (www.buzzmen.ro) officially launched on Romanian market, the company being founded by  Stefan Stroe, Sergiu Machidon and Alexandru Icodin.

BuzzMen starts its activity as the 1st conversational marketing and viral ideas company in Romania, activating in an area that generated, in US, over  $ 50Ma in 2009, according to a press release.

The founders want BuzzMen “to produce viral marketing projects, to communicate good ideas that end up for so many years in a “drawer” because of the lack of courage in marketing or because of the restrictions classical media channels have”. They also say that, With BuzzMen, robust ideas “can reach up to people, using precise channels (online and offline) and implying smaller operational costs” than when using an advertising agency.

Just launched, BuzzMen offers the following services Online Brand Ambassadors word-of-mouth network, creative services for viral content, social media research, strategy, online media planning and buying.

Stefan Stroe is an independent strategist that offers, since January 2010, communication strategy services for companies and communication agencies. Before that, he was Strategic Planning Director at Grey Worldwide Romania and Starcom Mediavest Romania.

Sergiu Machidon is Managing Director Avalon Communications, full service agency, where he coordinates online media planning & buying services in over 22 countries for international clients including Moneygram Italy and Lufthansa Italy.

Alexandru Icodin is a creative with nine years of experience in agencies such as Leo Burnett Romania, Saatchi&Saatchi Romania, Mercury Romania. Starting 2008, he is Managing Director at Open View, creative studio that works for clients such asStrauss Romania, Coca-Cola Romania, Life Care Europe gmbh, Edy Spedition or Scandia Romania.
