Romanian direct marketing agency Create Direct was awarded, in Amsterdam, its 5th prize this year, for one of the campaigns it ran this year. Create Direct was on the 3rd place at InterDirect Network Forum, a competition in which were entered 52 projects from UK, Ireland, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, Portugal, Poland and India.
Create Direct entered the competition with a campaign realized for Microsoft Romania and entitled “Misiunea mea” (My mission). The objective of the campaign was to increase sales for Windows OEM and Office 2007 OEM.
The campaign ran from November 2009 until January 2010 and had as main target Microsoft’s partners. Even from the start, the campaign strategy proved to be successful, considering the e-mail marketing registered results: 92% opening rate and 79.6% collected leads. The campaign was mainly online and it generated for the client an increase of 20% in sales for the two Microsoft products.
