Propaganda, Publicis and Rogalski Grigoriu, shortlisted at Eurobest

The Romanian agencies that entered the shortlists of Eurobest festival this year are Propaganda, Publicis and Rogalski Grigoriu.

Propaganda and Publicis were selected among the finalists of the Radio competition with the same works they were recently awarded Bronze at Epica Awards, respectively spots for Delmar and Bucharest Police.

Propaganda shortlisted work was made by a team including Andrei Tripsa – Art director and Costin Miu – Copywriter.

The team working on Publicis Romania shortlisted spots, part of a campaign for Bucharest Police, included Razvan Soare – Copywriter, Razvan Capanescu – Creative Director, Camelia Efrimov – A/V Producer, Bogdan Voinea – Account Manager and Andrei Tatu, Studio Factor – Sound Design.

In the PR competition from Eurobest, the only shortlisted Romanian agency is Rogalski-Grigoriu, that entered the finals with Money School for BCR.

The project was initiated by Rogalski Grigoriu PR and was run together with Media Café (strategy and online creation), Mediaedge:cia (media strategy), Tempo Advertising (ATL creation), BT Events (BTL), business newspapers such as Financiarul and Saptamana Financiara. The success of the program was assured also by online Romanian personalities such as Simona Tache, Vali Petcu, Cristian Manafu, Alex Mihaileanu and Cristian Orgonas.

The program Money School started in October 2009 and its promotion campaign included PR on traditional and online channels, innovative media formats and interactive communication.

Until now, Rogalski Grigoriu won numerous awards for Money School.

Romanian agencies entered 30 works at this year’s edition of Eurobest. Romanian entries were in Film competition (5 entries), Interactive (2 entries), Integrated (2 entries), Print (5 entries), Outdoor (5 entries), Radio (3 entries), Direct (2), Design (1) and PR (5).

In total, on Eurobest shortlists entered 40 works in Design, 52 – Direct, 92 – Film, 88 in Interactive, 67 in Media, 8 in Mobile, 121 in Outdoor, 37 in PR, 164 in Print ,60 in Promo & Activation and 33 in Radio.

The 3rd Eurobest Festival incorporating the 23rd Eurobest Awards, Europe’s largest creative advertising & communications competition, takes place in Hamburg 6-8 December.

Launched in 1988, Eurobest is Europe’s leading annual awards competition for creative excellence in the categories of Film, Print, Outdoor, Radio, Interactive, Mobile, Media, Direct, Sales Promotion, Design, Craft, PR and Integrated advertising. The awards, which are judged by Europe’s top creatives, form part of a two-day Festival themed to identify and engage specific topics that are relevant to the European market. Launched in 2008, the Festival has been held in Stockholm and Amsterdam. Organised by the same team behind the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival, the Dubai Lynx International Advertising Festival and Spikes Asia, the Eurobest Advertising Festival is a purely European event.
