Borsec is the most powerful Romanian brand for the 2nd year in the row, according to the Top 50 most powerful Romanian brands 2011, a study realized by Unlock Market Research and Biz Magazine.
The top 10 includes, besides Borsec, the Romanian brands Poiana, Kandia, Gerovital, Dorna, BCR, La Dorna, Dacia, Plafar and Timisoreana.
Five of the brands in the 10 places of the top in 2010 are also playing this year in the same league: Borsec, Poiana, Dorna, BCR , Dacia and Timisoreana.
This year, the media brands had their own top, with Pro TV being a leader, followed by Antena 1, Radio Zu, TVR 1, Prima TV, Kiss FM, Radio 21, Libertatea, Adevarul and Europa FM.

The study, made by Unlock Market Research, aimed to measure Romanian brands’ power for the 2nd year in the row, but not from financial or corporate perspective, but in terms of trust and feelings they get from consumers.
The conclusions of the study were presented today at BrandRo, the 1st Biz event of the autumn. Among events’ speakers there were Adina Vlad – Managing Partner Unlock Market Research, Anca Rarau – Director Marketing & Comunicare Banca Transilvania, Catalin Dobre – Group Creative Director McCann Ericson, Lorand Szarvadi – Cofounder Domo, Maria Apostol – PR and Corporate Affairs Director ProTV.
