Campaign against binge driving, from Romanians Brewers, Police and CNA

Creativity

For the 4th year in the row, Romanian Brewers Association, with the support of Romanian Police and CNA (Romanian National Audiovisual Council), is continuing the campaign targeting Romanian drivers to make them adopt a responsible way of acting when driving, in order to reduce the number of car accidents that have as reason the consumption of alcohol. During the campaign, the drivers are reminded not to drive after they drank alcohol, but to adopt any other way to get safely home: call a friend, get a cab or use public transportation.

At its 4th edition, the campaign was launched this year at the start of December and will run until mid-January, covering all winter holidays. The campaign runs simultaneously outdoor, indoor, print, TV and online.

Through this campaign, Romanian Brewers Association consolidates its social implication and preoccupation to promote  responsible drinking when it comes of alcohol. We wish our consumers to enjoy fully the winter holidays that are close, but, in the same time, we recommend them to keep in mind that the successful parties are ending only after they get safely home. That is why it is the best to give away the wheel when they are drinking

Developed under a concept adopted at European level, Designated Driver, campaign benefited this year of the pro bono involvement of Romanian rally driver, Titi Aur, that took over, in campaign’s visual, the role of designated driver.

Romanian Brewers Association was founded in 2004 and, today, its members are 5 of the most important beer producers in Romania – Bergenbier, Heineken Romania, Romaqua Group, United Romanian Breweries and Ursus Breweries -, along with Soufflet Malt Romania and Romanian Association of Hop Producers.
