Romanian Effies communication campaign, signed by McCann Erickson


Launched in April, Romanian Effie 2012 communication campaign reunites leaders of Romanian business community, that are talking about recognizing communication’s contribution in achieving their business objectives.

Top managers from Ursus Breweries, Dacia, P&G, Dedeman and  Cosmote, companies that had campaigns awarded at Effie in previous years, express their point of view regarding the festival, showing that the communication efficiency awards aren’t just an event of the advertising industry.

Over the years, I noticed that Effie trophies are exposed in a honorable place in advertising agency trophies panoply, but also in clients’ bureaus and conference rooms. The campaign for the 9th edition of Effie Romania manages to explain communication’s contribution in achieving business objectives through the voice of leaders from some of the most important companies in Romania. Effie 2012’s communication campaign runs in press, radio, outdoor, online and B2B between April 18th- June 4th and was developed by McCann Erickson Romania following a decision of Effie Organizing Board from 2010, that says that the agency that wins one edition’s Grand Effie is invited to develop the communication campaign for the following year edition.

Effie Romania is an event organized by International Advertising Association (IAA Romania) in partnership with Romanian Advertising Agencies Association (UAPR) and implemented for the 6th year in the row by The Institute.

For this year edition, the deadline for entries is May 18th 2012, with judging to take place on May31 st and June 1st. The awards gala will take place on June 4th.
