Vodafone, Petrom and Pepsi are leading the brands with the most active presence in Romanian social media, according to Top 50 social brands, a top presented by Biz Magazine and that already reached at its 4th edition.
Vodafone kept the leader position for the 4th year in a row. Among Romanian brands present in top, Danone saw a spectacular increase, reaching to 5th position after, last year, it was on 25th. Orange is not missing from top 5, occupying the 5th position, 3 places up compared to last year. Top 10 includes also Nokia, Heineken, BCR, Ford and Avon.
Top Social Brands 2012 resulted following pondering results obtained by brands in 3 different preliminary tops: one made by Biz magazine – 45%, one resulted following votes given by online specialists – 35% and one based on mentions in ZeList – 20%. Brands selection was based on last year’s top and nominations made by main Romanian interactive and communication agencies.
Selection criteria took in consideration the activities in social media between January 2011 – February 2012 and didn’t included media products, online products or selfpromo activities made by communication agencies.
