Successful KitKat breaks in Romania, orchestrated by Interactions

Interactions and Kit Kat developed together the online component for the promotional campaign “Take a break, get a cool stuff!”, that ran on the dedicated platform and via a Facebook app.

The campaign took place between March 1st and May 3rd, offered total prizes of RON 220,000 and the big prize of Euro 12,000, and generated results 50% higher than estimated.

This campaign shows that send-and-win promotions mustn’t be always the same: send a code and win following a draw. In any situation, you can find ideas to make things more interesting and more attractive for consumers. For example, because we keep on talking about “Have a break, have a Kit Kat”, for each code entered, we offered a break tip (…) This idea had a very good impact!

The prizes consisted in 46 travel vouchers for trips in Europe (3 days, 2 people), awarded following a daily draw. The big prize, draw on Maty 3rd, is of Euro 12,000 and represents a financial support for a year break. The commercial gross value of the prizes was of RON 221,844 (VAT included).

When you add a bit of salt and pepper to an apparently classic promotion, the results are visible. We thank to the client, we had an excellent relation during the entire campaign
