Renault looks for 100 ambassadors of Olympic Values, together with The Practice, Digital Star and Starcom MediaVest

The Practice, Digital Star and Starcom MediaVest will handle PR, online communication and social media to support the partnership between Renault Romania and Romanian Sportive and Olympic Committee (COSR) in order to promote Olympic values. Leo Burnett Group agencies won this task following a pitch in which were involved more agencies in Romanian market.

As a part of this collaboration, the 3 agencies are supporting Renault Romania, main sponsor of COSR at Olympic Games, in developing and implementing the communication campaign “Renault Romania looks for 10 ambassadors of Olympic values!”. Starting from the slogan of the special edition Renault Mégane Olympic – ” Brings forward the Olympic Spirit”, the campaign aims to make known the Olympic values to ordinary people and  to discover the spirit of Olympic values in day to day situations, to find performances and success stories outside sport fields and to award 100 people that apply Olympic spirit in their daily lives.

We identify with the Olympic values, that is why it is very important for us to address the general public, to pass to the ordinary people our brand values and, in the same time, to manage to have them close in our actions. The 3 selected agencies answered the best to our communication needs, they understood the role and our objectives and integrated brand values and Olympic spirit in their proposals

Digital Star declined the campaign idea for digital.

We mainly wanted to catch the essence of the Olympic spirit from the perspective of Romanian athletes present to the Olympic Games. This way, the attitude and their thoughts previous to the competition were transformed in short emotional videos, that bring the spirit of this champions further, to reach all Romanians. After winning the pitch for Renault Twingo project, it is a joy to have the chance to continue working with Renault in Renault Mégane Olympic campaign

 The campaign is implemented in online and aims to involve the general public but also company’s target groups, including mass media, bloggers and opinion leaders. Through a special platform created for this occassion,, for the entire duration of the campaign, between June 18  – August 12, all people in Romania – athletes, supporters or just spectators – can make known their thoughts or live stories and get the chance to become ambassadors of Olympic values.
