United Colors of Benetton launches Unemployee of the Year contest

United Colors of Benetton launched a new global communication campaign, Unemployee of the Year, on the Unhate Foundation platform, marking this way its commitment to unemployment among youths, MandMglobal informs.

For the campaign, Benetton is calling on unemployed adults aged 18 – 30 y.o, that have to submit outlines of project ideas that have the power to create a social impact in their community. Following a vote by the online community on UNHate Foundation website, top 100 most appreciated projects will receive Euro 5,000 to fund the project and campaign support from UNHate Foundation to make projects work.

The contest runs from September 18th to October 14th. The campaign will be supported by ads to be broadcasted on MTV and in digital media in over 35 countries, but also in print and in social media.
