Apollo Music Store releases an online Pop Up Shop with “Holiday Music….that doesn’t suck”

Apollo Studios launched their first online venture, a Holiday Pop-Up Shop with thirty brand new, original holiday tracks. The Pop-Up Shop is a fresh look at holiday music and allows for advertising creatives, producers and editorial staff to easily access the music in Apollo Music Store.

Our Pop-Up Shop is a response to numerous request we’ve been getting from our clients over the past ten years. Everyone wants and needs holiday music, but not everyone wants the same old classics that we are use to hearing. Ok, I love Bing Crosby, but a lot of holiday ads are turning towards younger consumers that want to hear something new, something different

Our Holiday Pop-Up Shop is a pre-launch for Apollo Music Store which will officially launch its transactional site in early 2013. Apollo Music Store will be the only music licensing site that is 100% dedicated to the advertising community. Our approach is simple: go with what ad agencies really need to score their spots as opposed to showcasing every possible style of music.  I think musical needs are different and more specific, and so is the the agency workflow. Existing online music libraries cater well to film & TV productions, but we want to do a better job at offering great music specifically to the advertising industry. That’s Apollo Music Store’s mission!
