Samsung Romania starts 2013 edition of Trends of Tomorrow caravan

CSR

Samsung Electronics Romania continues the educational campaign “Trends of Tomorrow” (CSR project started in 2011 that aims to support professional orientation and personal development for young people finishing high-school, offering them a “smart” hour during which they can find out what are the trends of labour market and digital aptitudes they need in their future career), with the caravan to reach, from May 15 to June 5, 5 Romanian towns, namely Craiova, Constanta, Ploiesti, Sibiu and Galati.

Because we live in an era when information is one click away, young people oftentimes confront with difficulties in choosing the info that is really valuable to them because of the huge volume of data surrounding them. That is why any recommendation coming from specialists is always welcomed. Through this stage of ‘Trends of Tomorrow’, we wish to offer specific information on steps to do in the start of the career and we consider that digital aptitudes are critically important for the professional itinerary of young people

To support their first steps in choosing a career, the campaign offers them info not just via Smart hours during the caravan, but also with the official Facebook page Trends of Tomorrow. A specially developed app is available for them to show how to correctly fill a CV; once an user fills in its data, app will generate a CV that can be downloaded directly from the Facebook page.

Romanian “Trends for Tomorrow” program is part of Samsung’s global CSR program “Hope for Youth” .
