ADfel, IQads’ unconventional advertising festival, is scheduled to take place on August 12-18, at Fabrica Club in Bucharest.
Via happenings and creative executions, brands will offer to the public new unconventional experiences online and offline, that will continue or take place directly at the festival.
During the 7th edition of the festival, over 100 brands were present and implemented over 350 unconventional ideas. The concept and execution for most of ideas were insured by IQads, while the rest were built in partnership with some of the most important Romanian advertising agencies.
Also this year, ADfel will become the place consumers will be able to make parodies based on commercial, as part as Grand Spoof, competition that reached the 7th edition and is supported by Ciuc Premium, under the slogan “Just the idea matters”.
ADfel will start with Cultural days and the toys offered by educational, cultural and social organizations, and ADfel Galleries, collection with the most awarded unconventional works from all over the world.
In numbers, last year’s edition meant 60 unconventional activations from 31 cultural and commercial brands. Last year’s Grand Spoof 2012 had 103 entries, from which 79 made it on shortlist
In the festival period, IQAds will also come up with its ADfel Supplement, a guide to illustrate the event, distributed together with 24FUN. Previous editions of the supplement are available here.
