July 31, 2013July 31, 2013 Cristina Blanaru Business, Marketing, PR

Graffiti PR will handle the PR and brand strategy campaigns for Cargus courier in the next 3 years, after winning a pitch in which were involved 4 of the biggest PR agencies in Romania.

Mircea Tomescu, Managing Director Graffiti PR

Cargus is a special client because it undergoes one of the most important moments in the history of the company. After the takeover by Abris Capital Partners, a fast evolution process started, one that has to be supported by the brand strategy and communication efforts developed together with Graffiti PR

Mircea Tomescu,

Managing Director Graffiti PR

In May, Cargus launched its new visual identity that includes a new logo and a new slogan, “A step forward”. Cargus’ “runner”, used for the 1st time in 2004 and that became a Cargus symbol, was kept and updated for the new logo.

Nadia Homoc, Commercial Director Cargus

2013 is an important year for Cargus, one in which the results of the company must equal its investments. We chose to work with Graffiti PR because during the selection process of the agencies, we appreciated that they have shown interest not only in the product offered by Cargus, but in the desire to provide communication solutions with positive impact on  our business

Nadia Homoc,

Commercial Director Cargus

In 2013 Cargus made a 4 million euro investment, the largest in the history of the company, of which 3.2 million euros were invested exclusively in the fleet renewal, while 0.5 million euros were invested in upgrading the IT infrastructure and the Cargus communication software.

With a team of 30 public relations, brand strategy, digital and marketing consultants, Graffiti Public Relations is one of the largest PR agencies in Romania. Its client portfolio includes companies such as Petrom, UPC România, P&G, Nestle, Danone, British American Tobacco Romania, METRO Cash&Carry,  Microsoft, Dacia, Renault, Tetra Pak, Cargus International, Contrast Management-Consulting, ERSTE Stiftung, EGGER or bwin.party.

Graffiti PR is the Romanian agency exclusively affiliated to the Ketchum network, one of the major global companies on the public relations market, designated by PRWeek the Agency of the year in 2012.

Cargus International is the number 2 player in the Romanian domestic delivery market.  Founded in 1991, it is Romania’s first courier company and currently owns and operates the only countrywide network of hubs, warehouses and a delivery fleet of over 700 courier vehicles, with a work force of over 1.000 proffesionals and achieving sales exceeding EUR 20m in 2012.
