4,700+ entries at Eurobest 2013

Eurobest has received a total of 4,715 entries from 32 countries for this year’s edition. The work will be judged next week in Lisbon, Portugal.

Entries have been submitted into 15 different awards categories: Branded Content & Entertainment (147), Design (235), Direct (332), Film (438), Film Craft (336), Integrated (68), Interactive (405), Media (419), Mobile (131), Outdoor (577), PR (206), Print (580), Print & Poster Craft (339), Promo & Activation (371), and Radio (131).

The countries that have submitted the most entries are Germany (875) followed by France (692), United Kingdom (632), Sweden (500), Belgium (245), Switzerland (237), and The Netherlands (213).

The 95 industry professionals from Europe and beyond that make up the ten juries will soon arrive in Lisbon to vote, discuss and award the coveted Eurobest awards.

The results of the Eurobest Awards as judged by this amazing group of experts, coupled with the ‘Creative Bravery’ content theme under discussion on stage, will put European creativity under the spotlight. The winning work selected and showcased will inspire and propel the industry in Europe forward

The winners will be announced during the Eurobest Awards on Friday evening, 6 December, at the Cinema São Jorge. Other accolades that will be revealed are: Agency of the Year, Independent Agency of the Year, Network of the Year, Interactive Agency of the Year and the Golden Palm Award, presented to the most awarded production company. Canal+ will be honoured with the Advertiser of the Year 2013 award. The event will conclude with celebrations at the After Party held at Lux, Lisbon’s top nightclub.

Eurobest will take place 4-6 December in Lisbon, Portugal, offering three days of motivational content and inspirational discussions, exclusive networking events each evening and a celebration of creative excellence.

Launched in 1988, Eurobest is Europe’s leading annual awards competition for creative excellence in the categories of Film, Print, Outdoor, Radio, Craft, Interactive, Media, Direct, Promo & Activation, Design, PR, Integrated, Mobile and Branded Content & Entertainment advertising. Since 2008, the awards, which are judged by Europe’s top creatives, form part of a two-and-a-half day Festival themed to identify and engage specific topics that are relevant to the European market. The festival, attended by more than 1,900 delegates in 2012, has previously been held in Stockholm, Amsterdam, Hamburg and Lisbon.  Eurobest is organised by Lions Festivals.
