Project Agora, the first automated marketplace in Southern-Eastern Europe, was the main subject presented by TailWind during dmexco’14, the biggest European digital marketing event, taking place annually in Koln, Germany.
TailWind took the stage to present Agora on Thursday, during a presentation held by AppNexus, which is also Project Agora’s partner.
Under Project Agora brand, TailWind is building a marketplaces network of premium publishers from Europe, Middle East and Africa. In the preliminary stage of the project, Romanian players involved in this are important players like Mediafax, Ringier, ThinkDigital, Antena TV Group, Gazeta Sporturilor, InternetCorp and others.
Agora’s mission is to create specific audiences which will generate added value for advertisers and will make sure to protect the interests of the local publishers.
As the prognosis show that up to 50% from online display ad spaces will be bought and sold automatically (programmatic trading), TailWind, ad tech company part of TDG, aims to simplify the selling and buying process of online ad spaces and to increase publishers, advertisers and media agencies’ revenues with help from automated solutions, based on relevant data.
