Co:lab 24 aims to help Romanian NGOs with communication strategies and proper branding

A Romanian initiative, Co:lab 24 is a 24 hrs marathon reuniting specialists from different sectors eager to use their abilities and competencies to contribute to a radical change of image and perspectives for different NGOs with beneficial activities but little resources.

The event is organized by eLiberare Design, a non-profit design agency which, through its activities, supports communication campaigns specific to NGOs and CSR projects. The agency wants to help NGOs to make their activity and initiatives known through a well-defined visual identity and consequent and well shaped communication strategies.

The main partners of the project are Bridging the Gap and Positive Projects, which, through their projects, support the development of NGOs capacities in Romania, offering them accessible resources and reuniting the efforts of all relevant actors: NGOs, private companies, public institutions and other relevant decision factors. Another supporter is Zephyr Group, which brings a rich expertise in outsourced marketing and communication services, adapted to the specific needs of the NGOs.

Co:lab 24 is scheduled to take place for the first time in March and is built around 3 main pillars: community (the free services offered during the event will benefit to a Romanian NGO with experience in running projects with impact over the community, communication (with focus on redefining the way the selected NGO communicates its image and actions to all interested factors) and cooperation (based on the idea of collaboration, involvement in community)

The main services to be offered free of charges through Co:lab 24 include design/redesign logo and visual identity, making a brandbook, developing a new website / update the old one so it would reflect the new image, new content written by professional journalists for the website, realizing a presentation brochure for the organization , promotional catalog with professional photos, filming and editing a promotional video, media kit (predefined form for press releases), customization for NGOs Facebook page and development of content for it for 6 months, consultancy for online promotion, training program to develop the capacity to use efficiently the offered instruments.

Besides the mentioned tools, Co:lab 24 will continue to help through a series of other actions and assistance.

Among those reuniting their forces within Co:lab 24 there will be people with extensive experience in multiple areas: designers, web developers, communication specialists, video editors, finance specialists, fund-raisers, entrepreneurs, company managers and others.
