As company’s promotion is in full process of reinventing and when, according to an EY Romania study, 91% of the local companies consider social media a competitive advantage and 74% use them, marketing people need to rethink their digital communication strategy. And to take in consideration that most Romanian smartphone users are searching info on their mobile (iSense study) and 14% of the Romanian intermet users are blocking ads on big websites by using programs like AdBlock.
In this context, the 10th edition of Digital Marketing Forum – the oldest event dedicated to online promotion in Romania – will bring together over 30 Romanian and foreign specialists which will share with the audience concrete solutions, new ideas and creative case studies. Over 300 marketing people from medium and big companies are expected to participate to the event on February 25-26.
The event includes one day of conferencesd and seminaries (February 25th) and an intensive training day (February 26th). The speakers line-up includes Robert Anghel (ING), Stela Toderascu (Avon), Alexandru Cernatescu (Infinit Solutions), Mihai Caluseriu (Conversion Marketing), Tudor Galos (Microsoft), Anca Nuta (UniCredit Bank), Elisabeta Moraru (Google) and Ramona Ciocodei (McDonald’s).
During the second day, Kath Pay, Digital Marketing Consultant&Trainer, UK, is present in Bucharest to discuss about the ways persuasiveness and psychology can be used in e-mail marketing. “Persuasive Design and Copywriting” seminary will answer participants’ need to understand what motivates the consumer to buy and which are the ways that, through design and copywriting, can generate an increase of the conversion rate. The seminary will take place between 10:00-18:00 and will be divided into 4 sessions.
The digital campaign #LikeAGirl is one of the most known online and one that was designated among the big winners at Cannes Lions last year; the creative director for the campaign, Milos Obradovic (Leo Burnett Group, UK), comes to Digital Marketing Forum to discuss, during a session dedicated to online strategies, about the base elements in project with strong impact.
On the other hand, experts in digital marketing will present case studies for online marketing and communication campaigns for companies like Coca-Cola, Avon, IKEA, eMAG, Telekom, Baneasa Shopping City, focusing on tactics and instruments that contribute to insure visibility and help create a beneficial relationship with the consumer
An exclusive study by iSense Solutions will be presented during Digital Marketing Forum. The study covers Romanian consumer’s way of acting in report with TV advertising and the ways brands can maintain active the communication with consumers, considering 8 out of 10 Romanians are switching the channel during the commercials break. The research aims to underline the reason of this consumer’s attitude and the most efficient alternative communication channels and the messages of impact for consumers.
