Mihai Fetcu, Creative Director Geometry Global Bucharest and winner of the only Romanian Gold in Cannes last year, was designated juror at this year’s edition of the festival. He will have the mission to evaluate hundreds of works from all over the world, entered in the Promo & Activation competition.

This year, on the shortlist of Romanian proposals for jurors in Cannes were also Ioana Filip – McCann and Diana Papuc – Leo Burnett, both with Lions from Cannes in their portfolio.

With double competencies in product design and art direction, Mihai was both creator of prototypes (see the functional car, made from scratch, along with other 3 enthusiasts) and author of multiple awarded works. He worked over time in Romanian agencies like Tempo, TBWA, Grey and Lowe, but the ultimate confirmation came as Creative Director at Geometry. Here, together with over 40 enthusiasts in communication, with the projects created for agency’s clients, he managed to place Geometry Global Bucharest on the international creativity map, receiving over 80 accolades only in 2015. During the last few years, under his coordination, Geometry won all the relevant awards in prestigious international competition, from Cannes to LIA, Cresta or Clio.
