The Alternative School organizes #TalentBet for young creatives

Romanian The Alternative School organizes #TalentBet, a career accelerator for young creatives and strategs from agencies and clients. They will get a larger perspective over creativity’s future, more articulate portfolios, professional guidance for career, culinary experiences, chance to qualify to international competitions and a context where creatives from different environments discover new people.

To enter the program, one must submit the portfolio to win@canneslions.ro. Participation to the program is 250 Euro plus VAT for teams or 150 Euro plus VAT for individuals. Romanian PR agency Rogalski Damaschin offers 6 scholarships for best portfolios.

Those entering the program have access, on July 28th, at The Future of Creativity event, that will project most awarded campaigns from Cannes Lions 2022. The event will see Romanian jurors from Cannes, Alina Damaschin, Radu Pilat and Alex Teodorescu, discussing the communication industry’s trends. A special slot will be one dedicated to The Future of Money, presented by Nicoleta Deliu, Head of Communication, BCR.

August 16th will be dedicated to #PortfolioNight, where 3 Romanian creatives with international performances, Livia Fălcaru (illustrator), Cătălin Dobre (CEE McCann) and Cosmin Baba (CD Oxygen) answer question and give feedback on best portfolios from #TalentBet. The rest of participants will receive individual feedback, to be able to refine their portfolios and be better prepared for any career change.

Five more meetings with speakers will focus on topics relevant to the future of the industry. The speakers to approach those topics will be Cătălin Dobre, CEE Creative Director McCann (18/08), Meri The Zu, illustrator and Gabriel Eremia, marketing director Arctic (20/08), Cosmin Baba (Oxygen) and Andreea Calarasu (Jam Session) (23/08).

Davor Bruketa – Chairman Bruketa Zinic Grey and Nicholas Klein, CD Philipp und Keuntje, both winners of Cannes accolades, will discuss on 25 August about tech and creativity. Same topic, but with niche examples, will be approached by Madalina Pangrate, Industry Manager, Google Romania.

During the program, creatives will apply the information receive in solving a brief. Best team will qualify for Eurobest. Creatives up to 23 y.o. have access also to Roger Hatchuel Academy 2023.
