Ad Budgets increased by 30% in Russia in 2006


Ad spends increased by 29% in Russia in 2006, reaching to$ 6.5bn, according to Russian Association of Communication Agencies.

The main factors that determined budgets increase – +5.03% compared to 2005 – were TV and internet.

TV advertising registered an increase of 36%, to $ 32Bn, while online increased 67%, to $100M. Russian outdoor evolved by 30%, to $1.2bn, while print increased 18% ($1,6Bn) and radio by 17% ($ 350M).
