Germanos Romania launched a new TV campaign

Creativity, Marketing, Media

A new TV campaign from Germanos was launch, with accent on humor and reminding of old-times technology. The campaign underlines Germanos’ expertise in consulting the customers to choose the best technology for them. Daniel Buzdugan, a Romanian well known radio presenter, is the main character of the story.

The ’70s, ’80s and ’90s were brought back to life in the 8 new TV spots, making a comparison between the technology used back than and the one from nowadays.

The film slide camera and Bulgarian TV shows seen with interferences are just some of memories from the Romanians’ past that Buzdugan turns into comical situations, maintaining the fun tone of voice of Germanos communication.

The TV spots have been filmed in July, during only 3 days and 1 night.

The TV campaign was done in partnership with the Ogilvy Romania team.

The campaign idea was formed starting from the fact that the technology evolving has solved a lot of problems, some of which hilarious, we were confronting with in the past. The situations depicted in the TV spots are inspired from episodes that were both real and common 20 or 30 years ago, typical for the Romanian area
