Eurobest introduces The Future Creative Leaders Program

Creativity, Marketing

The creative advertising and communications festival Eurobest and Berlin School of Creative Leadership are launching a brand-new venture, The Eurobest Future Creative Leaders Programme (EFCLP), an intensive four-day training initiative designed for those with high potential for, or already in, leadership positions.

Taking place in Hamburg, during the first two days, participants will engage in intensive coursework and training offered by the Berlin School, which has built a global reputation with its innovative Executive MBA to train creative industry executives in their organizations. Once the Festival is underway, the program will continue with bespoke sessions, speeches and lectures guided by the Berlin School faculty as well as accessing Eurobest’s full array of workshops and seminars featuring cutting-edge industry thinkers.

“Future creative leaders are not born but made, and most often self-made through vision, analysis, motivation and introspection,” says Michael Conrad, President of the Berlin School of Creative Leadership. “In this time of growing challenges and complexity, future creative leaders must increasingly be able to communicate and manage change successfully. This intense program will provide participants with concrete steps for advancing creative excellence in 2011.”, he added.

“Both Eurobest and the Berlin School of Creative Leadership are committed to raising the global standard in leadership education for the creative communication and media industries. Building on the great success of the inaugural Cannes Creative Leaders Program, we are delighted to be teaming up again to launch the Eurobest Future Creatives Leaders Program, offering a unique and rich four-day training course to help the development of the careers of those participating.”, Philip Thomas, CEO of Cannes Lions, organizers of Eurobest, said.

The program is guided by two principles: that future creative leaders are not born but made, and most often self-made through vision, analysis, motivation and introspection and that, in this time of growing challenges and complexity, future creative leaders must increasingly be able to communicate and manage change successfully.

EFCLP participants will have all facilities of Eurobest available to them including the shortlist exhibition, the Hive technology showcase, the award show, and Networking After Dark.

Program’s fee is Euro 2,450, while the early bird (with payment until October 30) price is Euro 1,950. Both program registration fees include the four-day program plus full VIP registration to all Eurobest festival events, speakers and the award gala.

Launched in 1988, Eurobest is Europe’s leading annual awards competition for creative excellence in the categories of Film, Print, Outdoor, Radio, Interactive, Mobile, Media, Direct, Sales Promotion, Design, Craft, PR and Integrated advertising. Launched in 2008, the Festival has been held in Stockholm and Amsterdam. Organized by the same team behind the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival, the Dubai Lynx International Advertising Festival and Spikes Asia, the Eurobest Advertising Festival is a purely European event.

The Berlin School of Creative Leadership is an independent non-profit institute established to provide executive leadership education to the creative industries. At the heart of the Berlin School lies it’s part-time global executive MBA in Creative Leadership program that is designed to turn great creatives into great creative leaders. To date close to 100 executives from over 25 countries around the world have participated or graduated from the EMBA program. The Berlin School is affiliated with Steinbies University Berlin and the Art Directors Club Germany and cooperates with UCLA Anderson School of Business and Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo.
