Google Romania became a member of IAB Romania

Google Romania is, starting Monday, became, starting today, a full member of IAB Romania, through officially signing a joining accord.

As a member of IAB Romania, Google Romania can involve in IAB Romania’s activities, that include research, including research, education, standardization, supporting industry events, public affairs, operations and social media, both with own initiative or in IAB Romania’s work-groups and will be able to compete for leading positions in the Romanian branch of the association or in Europe.

Google opened a Romanian office to be a local player, to be able to actively to developing an online medium and, in this context, joining IAB Romania is natural. Online, as a business and a communication medium, is developing with an accelerate speed and IAB has a very important role in insuring a healthy growth

Google is the 5th multinational company that joins IAB Romania, after Orange, ING, Gemius and Smart Adserver, being an IAB member also at international level. IAB Romania has, nowadays, 49 members.

IAB Romania was created in 2006 and reunites the most important companies in online advertising: media sales houses, advertising agencies, online advertising services providers and local publishers. IAB Romania is member of IAB Europe.
