Mobile marketing components will be more diversified during communication campaigns that will run in 2012, according to Syscom Digital predictions.
Syscom Digital is an interactive agency and one of the important players on Romanian mobile marketing market and had, in 2011, an Euro 1.7M turnover.
According to Maia Novolan, General Manager Syscom Digital, the value of the market reached, at the end of 2011, to Euro 7-7.5M. She also appreciated there are chances that the market will be similar from value’s point of view in 2012, as the value itself won’t increase, but there will be registered a multiplication in terms of volume and activities diversity in the mobile marketing field
SMS will continue to represent the main instrument in over 3/4 of mobile marketing campaigns, but the usage of QR codes, complemented with other tools (web, gaming, voice, Facebook, mobile apps) could show a growth reaching even to 50% in 2012, considering the potential of Romanian market in what concerns the volume of smartphones available on the market and the mobile internet access rate.
In 2012, mobile marketing trends will be expansion of “call-to-action” activities and mobile apps.
Moreover, websites and social games will have an increased exposure on mobile phones, as users always have this gadget with them.
