Graffiti BBDO, brand agency within BBDO Romania Group, expanded its clients portfolio with one of the most important Romanian FMCG brands, Ursus, winning the account following a complex pitch. Graffiti was appointed to handle the account after winning it over the most powerful communication groups on Romanian market.

Graffiti BBDO team that won the pitch included Cosmin Radoi (Managing Director), Stefan Chiritescu (Head of Strategy), Eleodor Ghenoiu (Strategic Planner), Mihai Gongu (Creative Director), Alexandru Malaescu (Art Director), Cristian Scurtu (Copywriter) and Roxana Hrimiuc (Account Director).

Moreover, Kaleidoscope Proximity also played a key role in winning the account.Kaleidoscope Proximity team included Cristian Pantazi (Managing Director), Miruna Ocnarescu (Client Service Director), Andreea Strachina (Copywriter) and Csaaba Nacu (Art DirectorProximity).

Ursus account completes successfully the list of Romanian authentic brands we have in our portfolio. The understanding of the industry and our expertise on accounts with local weight made the difference within this selection process and we trust that, together with Ursus Breweries team, we will help Ursus brand to have communication campaigns to match the best Romanian beer

Cosmin Radoi

Managing Director Graffiti BBDO.

According to Ștefan Chiritescu, Head of Strategy Graffiti BBDO, the pitch following which Graffiti BBDO became Ursus’ brand agency, wasn’t a classic one, but also involved “energy, chemistry, philosophy, sociology” as Ursus isn’t just a beer brand, but a brand in the selected top of Romanian brands that do really matter.

The selection of Ursus’ creative agency was based on our desire to continue the history of this successful Romanian brand and I am happy we found in Grafitti BBDO the enthusiasm, pride and the obvious spark that will help us in doing that

Marian Olteanu

Senior Brand Manager Ursus

Graffiti BBDO and Ursus started working together in the beginning of September, with the communication activity coordinated by an Ursus team including Mihai Barsan (Marketing Director) and Marian Olteanu (Senior Brand Manager).
