Advertising Day, to be organized for the first time in Romania by IAA and Ziarul Financiar

IAA Romania celebrates Advertising Day, a first and an anniversary moment that aims to become a tradition on the Romanian market. Advertising Day is conceived as an events platform and presents the importance of the marketing and communication industry for the Romanian economy.

The event, which will take place under the tag line “Advertising grows in Romania”, is organized by IAA Romania together with Ziarul Financiar (Mediafax Group) and aims to bring in the attention of all players on the market – from marketing and communication professionals until authorities from public institutions – the results of the study “Advertising, engine of economic growth in Romania”, made by Deloitte between May and September 2014.

The study shows how marketing and communication industry contributes directly to national economy’s development. In the same time, it reflects the opinion of the decision markers from Romanian and international companies active on the local market regarding the importance of advertising as a way of communication and information within the society.

Besides a detailed presentation of study’s results, IAA Romania will also organize, on Advertising Day, a series of round tables on advertising’s impact over different domains, interviews and presentations of some of the most important leaders from the local business environment.

We want to transform this into a habit and come annually in front of the industry and interested authorities to present and discuss, in detail, the way marketing and communication industry is contributing to the development of the economy and of the society. We are speaking here about a reference event, unique in the local picture, which will grow from year to year and will involve more and more structures and associations of the industry. For this first edition, we aim to bring in public’s attention the positive effects the marketing and communication industry generates within the local industry
