2Parale’s business, up 35% in Q1 2015

Business, e-Commerce, Marketing

Romanian affiliate marketing network 2Parale posted a 35% increase of its business in Q1 2015, compared to the similar period last year. In the end of March, 2Parale’s business turnover was of RON 2.15M.

In Q1, 2Parale increased the number of advertisers on its platform by 34% compared with the same period last year and there are now active 450 online stores, from which 114 launched in January-March 2015.

The results at the end of Q1 show us we’re talking about a growing market, in which more and more stores and brands start to acknowledge the benefits and mechanisms the affiliate marketing functions on. On the other hand, we continue to make efforts to help the market to reach a professional level; during the last 3 months, we got involved in organizing some specialized events and we launched programs that allow advertisers and affiliates to contribute both to accelerate the sales and to develop a relationship on long term, efforts which reflected in the increase we experienced. We trust that the entire year 2015 will bring us an accelerated growth rhythm, at least 50% up compared to last year

Dorin Boerescu,

CEO 2Parale.

Most sales in Q1 were posted by categories like cosmetics and plane tickets. The average value for online buys via 2Parale stayed constant in Q1, of RON 161, while the commissions received by affiliates increased by 25% in the first 3 months of the current year compared to the same period last year. When it came of shopping, in Q1, Romanians bought online on Tuesdays and during the evening.
