The Pharmaceutical Division of Roche Romania chose, after a local pitch, to work with PHD Romania in what concerns the TV part of its campaign “Cancer isn’t a dead sentence”.

This campaign targets the general public and, by the end of the year, will include informational activities related to the oncology diseases .

According to Laura Badea, Managing Director PHD Romania, the agency is happy to work with Roche Romania, considering it already has the experience of working with this client.

Dan Zamonea, General Manager Roche Romania, said that, in selecting the media agency, the company took in consideration the efficiency criteria of the TV campaign, as it wants to reach as many Romanians as possible.

“Cancer isn’t a dead sentence” campaign, launched in 2009’s spring, wants to change people’s attitude towards the person suffering of cancer, encouraging the pacients top initiate a constructive dialogue with their doctors and try to find the best treatment for their type of cancer.

The main message of the campaign is that this disease can be defeated and the fight starts with a positive attitude.

The media agency PHD is present in Romania since 2005 and is 100% Omnicom Group entity.
