Romanian agencies Pi2 PR and G2 Romania were shortlisted at this year’s edition of Digital Communication Awards, as the shortlist published on competition’s website shows.
Pi2 PR was shortlisted within the competition with 2nd edition of Amazing Race for its client, Siemens Romania, and entered the shortlist at “Companies” category.

Siemens Race also got a prize in 2011, for its 1st edition, when it gotSilver Award for Excellence at Romanian PR Awards, in “Environment Projects Communication category”.
2nd edition of Siemens Romania included teams of Romanian bloggers as it follows: Alex Mazilu &Razvan Baciu, Alex Negrea & Adrian Ciubotaru, Andrei Crivat & Marius Sescu,Cristina Bazavan & Cristina Chipurici, Dan Dragomir & Razvan Pascu. The 5 teams raced through 13 Romanian towns and will cover a distance of over 1,500 km.
During the 2nd edition of Siemens Race, the company aimed to make public aware of the existence of environmental compatible solutions for big Romanian towns, involving people and authorities in the process of early adopting them for a sustainable future. The mix of online-offline the campaign offers allowed the public to experiment during each stage of the race, together with the bloggers on the field.
Another Romanian campaign nominated on Digital Communications Awards shortlist comes from G2. The shortlisted campaign from G2 is “Space for me” for Avon Romania.
“Space for me”, a recruiting campaign for AVON Cosmetics Romania representatives, was a campaign tailored to invite future future representatives to interact with one of the known situations in a couple’s life. The problem of the personals pace becomes one of a cause started on Facebook, continued on blogs and in real estate classified newspapers, with the mistery revealed with website’s launch: www.spatiupentrumine.ro. Campaign lasted for a month (May 7th – June 5th 2012) and reached over 1M Romanians.

Digital Communication Awards is hosted by Quadriga Applied Sciences University in Germany, with the jury of the competition including over 20 experts in communication.
