Publicis Groupe and Golden Drum 2013 launch 2nd edition of Young Drummers creative competition

Golden Drum 2013 and Publicis Groupe partner for the 2nd year in organizing Publicis Drum Award, a special creative competition for Young Drummers,  a challenge of gaining and sharing professional experience in live competition for all young creative minds with agency working experience. During the competition, the teams that enter the contest have 3 days to get from a brief to a campaign. The teams will include creatives under-30 with 3 years of experience in strategic, account, digital, copy, PR and design departments of the agencies. Contest has a prize of Euro 5,000.

To enter the competition, the creatives must register as Young Drummer on festival’s website, fill in the application form and send it to info@goldendrum.com until September 10th 2013.

After receiving all applications, eligibility of the candidates will be assessed and 5 teams of up to 6 members will be put together by judges, based on their app forms. The jurors are Barbara Krajnc, Dan O’Donoghue, Tomasz Pawlikowski and Mitja Petrovič.

The teams will meet for the 1st time on October 9th 2013, when they will receive the brief. The competition program will be mentored by Dan O’Donoghue, Worldwide Strategic Planning Director, Publicis WW and Mitja Petrovic Creative Director Publicis Slovenia.

Each team will present its campaign on October 11th and the winner will be announced during evening’s award ceremony; the prize of the competition will be divided between the members of the winning team.

Last year, Romania was represented in this competition by  Marinela Bisocianu (BRD Groupe Societe Generale), Corinelia Cucolea (Kubis Interactive), Andreea Gavrila (Kubis Europe), Laura Ionescu (Kubis Interactive), Andreea Popa (Graffiti BBDO Bucharest), Stefana Gabor-Stoica (Saatchi&Saatchi Romania), and Sebastian Maraloiu (Graffiti BBDO Romania).
