Dacia, Ford and Renault are the auto brands most visible in Romanian advertising during the first half of the current year, according to an analysis made by mediaTrust.
Dacia is the leader and had 6,345 commercials worth Euro 10.25M at rate card in S1. Second is Ford, with 5,011 commercials and rate card of Euro 4.48M, while Renault comes 3rd (4,181 ads and rate card of Euro 6,90M).
Although January was a slow start for auto commercials (1.909 ads, 1.318 on TV), February made up for that and registered 7.239 commercials for the category, with TV being the source with most broadcasts (6.322). March meant, in terms of auto commercials, 8.551 ads (7.149 TV, 1.120 radio and 282 print), while April saw a decrease to 6.839 ads, before a new increase in May, to 8.569 ads, and another decrease in June (6.023).
TV was the channel that spread the most commercials for auto brands (31,563), followed by radio (6.400) and print (1.167)
