Saatchi & Saatchi X Advertising launched “How to become the best professional” project, an innovative program targeting students that aim to work in advertising, communication and PR. The program offers to students the possibility to make their first advertising campaign within Saatchi & Saatchi.
The program targets students and those attending master programs in marketing, communication, art and management, and other socio-human specializations.
For a year, 360 students interested to work in communication and PR will develop their knowledge and abilities in order to create the first campaign in their career. Each series of 15 students will undergo 2 modules, a theoretical one and a practical one, which will last 2 weeks. During the first week, they will learn which activities are running in an advertising agency’s departments (client service, strategy, creation, online, social media, audio-video, DTP), while during the second week, the students – divided in 3 teams- will receive a brief from a client and will have the opportunity to try the accumulated knowledge by proposing a communication campaign.
During the program, each student will benefit of guidance from Saatchi & Saatchi’s employees involved in the project so their solutions would answer as good as possible the brief.
Through this program, Saatchi & Saatchi aims to create a bridge between the young generation and employers who want to find in each CV experience and relevant competencies for the domain.
In a world we are facing so many budgetary restrictions, education should be the last domain to suffer. Unfortunately, the public education system doesn’t manage to insure to students the practical knowledge they need in order to easily find a job. “Weeks of Work” is the professional counseling program through which Saatchi & Saatchi aims to offer to young people the possibility to achieve the needed competencies on the labor market, contributing to the founding on healthy premises of a new generation of professionals
