Bergenbier picks DC Communication for PR

February 15, 2011May 9, 2012 Cristina Blanaru Creativity, Marketing, Media, PR

Romanian beer brand Bergenbier chose the PR & Communication agency DC Communication to handle its corporate and brand PR, starting February 2011.

DC Communication won the account following a pitch organized by Bergenbier from December 2010 until January 2011. The account was disputed by 4 PR & Communication agencies

Until now, for years, Bergenbier worked with Romanian Leo Burnett Group’s agencies for advertising, media and PR.

The Practice handled Bergenbier PR account for years, its campaign and activations bringing an important number of national and international prizes to the client.

Bergenbier entered Romania market in 1994. Nowadays, the company produces and bottles brands such as Bergenbier, Stella Artois, Beck’s, Löwenbräu and Noroc and imports Leffe and Hoegaarden.

The company also works, starting January, with  Lowe&Partners in what concerns the creative duties for Stella Artois and Beck’s. In the last 2 years, the creation for those 2 brands was handled by Leo Burnett, that still keeps Bergenbier and Noroc brands.

Also, Bergenbier selected another agency to handle its media, that was before handled by Starcom (part of Leo Burnett Romania). The new media agency of the company is Initiative, also part of Lowe Group Romania.

DC Communication is a PR agency founded in 1995. Its portfolio of clients includes Air France KLM Romania, Dell, Michelin Romania, Raifeisen Bank and Romtelecom.
