DOT.fair IT festival in Romania – over 30 companies and $30,000 in prizes

Between 18-21 June, Romanian town Cluj-Napoca will host the biggest IT festival in Romania. It will reunite 30 important Romanian and foreign IT&C companies, who answered to the invitation to participate to the first edition of DOT.fair.

DOT.fair is an initiative oriented towards tech market of information, an event which will see Cluj transforming into the Romanian capital of business solutions, telecom, social media, gaming and gadgets.

The structure of the festival was especially conceived to include more interest areas like Main Stage, Seminar Stage, Gaming Arena, Gadgets Expo Zone and Job-Fair.

Among the companies who will be present with customized stands at the festival are EBS Romania, RCS & RDS, Atlas Networking Google Cloud Platform, Epson, Bang&Olufsen, Cloud Trooper, Pitech+Plus, ForTech, Salus, Aero BVB, Nemetos, Luxsoft, Netloiq, YSoft, DMSCloud, Dyntell, Pont System, Proclick, Acoustic Density, Intend, Madd Electronics Group. The main supporter of the event is  EBS Romania, while RCS & RDS is the Telecommunication Partner @Dot.Fair

This year’s edition of DOT.fair is focused especially on gaming, where 4 e-Sports tournaments are in preparations: Dota2 Challenge, Heroes Of The Storm Challenge, Hearthstone Challenge and Counter-Strike Global Offensive Challenge. The tournaments will bring on the Main Stage professional European teams who will fight for total prizes worth $30,000

When it comes of Business Solutions and Social Media, they will be covered during the festival through workshops and presentations held by speakers from Google and Youtube (Ana Sipciu – Google Romania, Christian Sciullo – Google Germany), but also by Bogdan Mugescu – Aero BVB, Bogdan Herea – Pitech+Plus and Vlad Rusu – Cloud Troopers.

In the gadgets area, the Danish Bang&Olufsen is the central attention point, with its B&O Play division.
