Hippos, together with F64 and Nikon, ran, between April 2nd – May 15th, the “Win from passion” campaign, that promoted Nikon photo cams available via F64, with a special mix that included banners, OOH, in-store and unconventional outdoor, but also a Facebook app and social ads.
Passion – the definition of F64 and Nikon clients for photography – was the element around which we built campaign’s concept and the starting point for the entire project. We aimed to offer Romanian people passioned by photography the chance for their talent to be appreciated and awarded by experts in the field and, in the same time, offered them the possibility to organize a personal mini-exhibition in the virtual space

During 6 weeks, all the people interested by acquiring a Nikon photo cam from F64 could enter the race for a Toyota Auris – the biggest prize ever offered for a photo cams promotion – but also for many other prizes like weekly vouchers worth RON 500 each (over Euro 100) and daily prizes consisting in mugs shaped as Nikkor objectives, that were given based on draws.
The efficiency of the strategy and the proposed mix were demonstrated by campaign’s and promotion’s results, among which I would mention the 800 people that entered the promotion in 7 weeks and the over 4,000 photos included within the app “Your 1st photo exhibition” on F64’s Facebook page
