Saatchi & Saatchi is implementing EU consumers’ informing campaign

Saatchi & Saatchi launched the most recent EU campaign targeting Romanian consumers. The campaign has offline and online components, including PR strategy, social media, media relations, events

Under the tag line “It’s your right! Act!”, the campaign targets all Romanian consumers and aims to inform them on the rights they have both in Romania and in the other EU member states. The ambassador of the campaign is the Romanian actress Daniela Nane,  that will join the campaign team in their efforts to promote a pro-active attitude among consumers.

In the pitch we organized, from a total of 13 recommendations, the proposal that came from Saatchi & Saatchi was the best suited in what concerns quality-price balance. We are very happy about the efforts they made and with Saatchi’s creativity, that helps us to reach Romanian consumers. We hope to convince Romanians that it is the time to claim these rights

Saatchi & Saatchi will implement, in the next period, a complex informational campaign, that will be declined on TV, print, online, outdoor and in store, aiming to inspire the new Romanian consumers generation, well informed and intelligent, that know how to ask for their rights to be respected.

We live in a tech era in which info is a public good, available on all traditional and online media channels, with consumers being able to know the rights they have and the actions they can take when those rights aren’t respected. Romanians must know they have those rights as citizens of an EU member state and that, through our campaign, they will be encouraged to make use of their right to express any preoccupation related to their rights not being respected

 Campaign’s TV ads are showing 3 situations in which Romanians have, most of the times, the most problems: online shopping, products’ guarantee and holiday packages.

The official website developed by  Saatchi & Saatchi,, offers info related to the 3 situations presented in TV ads, but also about other rights guaranteed by EU. Also, info related to consumers’ rights are also available on social networks.

The PR campaign is coordinated by  Saatchi & Saatchi PR and runs from June 2012 until May 2013.  The contract to implement the campaign was won by a consortium of companies leaded by Centrade Saatchi & Saatchi, following a public pitch.
