JYSK Romania runs an employer branding campaign

Branding, Business, Specialized Communication

JYSK Romania, part of the Aarhus founded Scandinavian group JYSK Nordic, started a campaign of employer branding, aiming to attract new employees and retain the existent ones. “Scandinavian style jobs” highlights the benefits and opportunities offered by a career with JYSK, the cool and inspirational environment, defined by quality design, and the opportunities for personal and professional development.

JYSK aims to open over 100 stores in Romania by 2020 and it has now a network of 62 stores and 770 employees. By end of the current year, 5 new stores are scheduled to open. Considering this expansion, JYSK starts its employer branding campaign and, for this action, a few of its Romanian employees will become brand’s ambassadors.

We want new colleagues, but we also want to promote the existent ones, we even have an indicator measuring this, the internal promotion rate. Our main advantage is that we open, on average, 15 new stores a year, which means we have available annually 45 new positions of Department Managers, 15 new positions of Store manager and 2 new positions of District Managers. Anyone desires and has results can access those jobs
