2Parale merges with 2Performant and expands at regional level

2Parale, the biggest Romanian affiliate marketing network, part of Leo Burnett Romania Group, merged with the affiliation platform 2Performant, for which it already had the exclusive usage rights at local level. With this merger, 2Parale expands its business internationally, in more countries in Central and South-Eastern Europe and Turkey.

We started the year by announcing the partnership with 2Parale and we end 2012 in full force. 2Parale’s expansion at international level is part of the ascending evolution of the affiliate marketing industry on Romanian market and not only. Moreover, the decision comes as a strategical investment, confirming our efforts to develop and support this business segment

2Parale took over integrally the control over the affiliation platform and intends to invest in its development with new facilities to insure the results’ optimisation for network’s advertisers and affiliates.

The strategic plans of 2Parale include regional expansion in more countries in Central and South-Eastern Europe and Turkey. The consolidation at international level comes after entering Bulgarian market in 201, with 2Leva. Also, the company is currently present on the markets in Serbia, Iraq and Cyprus

 2Parale’s business in Romania and Bulgarian will reach this year Euro 1M, on a market that confirmed its growth potential during the 4 years since the start of the 1st affiliation campaign in Romania via 2Parale. We managed to overrun the local market’s growth rhythm and now it’s the time to monetize the strengths of 2Performant and to make the next step in developing the business by expanding it in emerging markets

2Performant is an affiliation platform developed in 2010 by Romanian entrepreneurs Radu Spineanu – founder 2Parale, Vladimir Oane and Lavinius Marcu. It insures the technical system of registering and monitoring the sales and all actions generate via 2Parale network.

The transaction involved both shares and money exchange, so company’s shareholders are now: Dorin Boerescu – 40%, Stefan Iordache – 40% and 2Parale On-line – 20%. The transaction was assisted  by law house Biris Goran.

The responsibilities related to the tech development of the affiliation platform are taken over by Silviu Lucian Vacaroiu, recently recruited in 2Parale’s team as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). With 10 years of experience in web development and around 6 years in online marketing, Vacaroiu previously was CTO at eRepublik.

The investments in increasing affiliation services quality offered by 2Parale are a confirmation for the development of affiliate marketing industry in Romania and for the development of the local electronic commerce market, set to reach Euro 1BN in 2013.

In its 4 years since launching on Romanian market, 2Parale generated for its over 230 advertisers sales of over RON 41M and delivered over 59M clicks. Only in 2012, the company generated for its affiliate stores over 145,000 sales. IN present, over 15,000 affiliates are working with 2Parale. The advertisers portfolio include miniPRIX, Flanco, ClickShop, Elefant, Groupon, TinaR, FashionUp, evoMag, Nemira, Yves Rocher and Continental Hotels.
