Initiative communicates the 1st Lidl media campaign in Romania, that started in October, in print and on TV.

Initiative developed and implemented the 1st Romanian media campaign for Lidl, the biggest food chain in Europe. The image campaign is focusing on communicating the regional specifics for Lidl products protfolio and was launched on October 7th, when Lidl inaugurated 11 new stores.

Ran by Initiative in print and on TV, the campaign is supporting company’s positioning that comes with the promise to offer Romanians, in their immediate proximity, quality products for the best price, provided to them directly from the producers.

We are happy to be Lidl’s partner and we are prepared to support with all Initiative’s know-how their communication in Romania. As it is the 1st Lidl campaign, the debut was important, as we made a push on TV and in print to support brand notoriety’s growth on Romanian market

Lidl has for now 120 stores in Romania and, by the end of the year, it will reach to 125 and will turn into the biggest modern retailer, with national coverage, in terms of owned stores.

Initiative Romania won the media account following a pitch organized in September. The agency will offer specialized services of media planning & buying, strategy, media and digital consultancy.

Initiative’s team working on Lidl account includes Ruxandra Stefan – Client Service Director, Andreea Dinescu – Account Director, Liliana Pirvu – Strategic Planner, Dan Togea – Senior Media Planner and Cristina Chinde – Research Manager.
